Sirius are delighted to announce that Lara Rumford, Sally Lloyd, Sue Hewish, Jon Clark and Robert Smale have all joined us.
Lara Rumford has joined the team as the Assistant Commercial Manager with over three years of commercial experience in the defence industry. She previously worked at BAE Systems CORDA, supporting the commercial management of 2 large MOD Framework Contracts, as well as providing commercial support and guidance to the CORDA consultancy business. Previous to this, she graduated with a First Class Honours law degree from the University of Surrey.
Sally Lloyd has joined Sirius as the Marketing Manager after 18+ years marketing experience across different industries including almost 9 years working for organisations in the HVAC and energy sectors. In Sally’s most recent role she has been helping a start up business to scale up, focussing on establishing the brand within the marketplace. Sally is keen to use her experience to support Sirius in their next stage of growth. When not at work Sally can be found splashing in puddles and running from waves with her young family.
Sue Hewish is delighted to join the Sirius Analysis team as Head of Nuclear. After 35 years in the Nuclear industry, she also brings the support of an elite team of expert Associates with combined experience of over 500 years! Sue is a Chartered Chemist and Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry – she is both a technical and business development professional. Most recently she has been leading a UK Specialist Nuclear Consultancy business for a major international group in target markets including Nuclear Decommissioning, Nuclear New Build (large reactors & SMRs/AMRs), Fusion, Nuclear Hydrogen Cogeneration and bespoke Training. She also brings significant international experience having worked on projects in the United States, Europe, Middle East and Ukraine/Belarus.
Jon Clark specialises in cost modelling and analysis. Over the past 8 years since 2016, primarily in the defence and transportation sector, Jon has led financial business cases (Strategic, Outline and Full) and costings for large programmes and projects, gaining knowledge of the Ministry of Defence’s approvals, financial structure and costing process. Jon has developed industry compliant cost models and supported business cases for Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S), the Submarine Delivery Agency (SDA), Ministry of Defence (MoD), Confidential Clients and Network Rail. Jon has a Physics Degree from Sheffield Hallam University, having studied how temperature effects the Nematic Constants of Liquid Crystal Displays (LCDs) for his final year project.
Robert Smale joins Sirius after spending the last 10 years working in the finance industry first working as a mortgage broker and then moving to a well-established solicitor firm to work within their accounting team. Robert worked on several projects within the business to help drive improvements and effect change within the firm. The most notable work was to provide a budget analysis for several departments, this helped drive his desire to understand the importance of data visualization to support business decisions.
